SE Magazines publishes three monthly magazines in South East London reaching 15,000 homes and businesses. The titles are SE21, SE22 & SE23. So if local targeted advertising is what you are after, look no further. You can choose one postcode or cover all three, it is up to you!
Like all South East London residents I appreciate the wonderful vibrancy of our community. So I decided to set up SE22 magazine in 2005 to publicise both our independent local businesses and our huge variety of community groups and events. The response was fantastic, which I think is why we are still going strong today. From the issue of just 28, mainly black and white pages, SE22 has now grown to over 52 pages an issue, all in full colour. It’s not just me who likes to support local businesses – we all do! The magazine also publicises details of local community groups, charities, school and church events to residents at no cost – our What’s On pages are keenly read each month.
SE22 was soon joined by SE21 and SE23 – both in the same winning formula.
Angela Burgess is originally from Stockport, but moved to South-East London in her early twenties. After brief stints in Denmark Hill, Peckham and Nunhead, Angela finally settled in East Dulwich in 2000.
Realising there was a gap in the market for a magazine dedicated entirely to promoting the local community, Angela launched SE22 magazine back in March 2005. Following its success, it was not long before she went on to introduce SE21 and SE23 magazines; covering Dulwich Village, West Dulwich, Forest Hill and Honor Oak.
